Our Mission

Tasnim Collections began with a simple belief: modest clothing should work for the woman wearing it – not the other way around.

Every sister is different. We have different bodies, heights, needs, and ideas of what makes us feel comfortably covered. Yet modest clothing is still so often made as though one size or one design should suit everyone. We wanted to offer something different: thoughtfully designed clothing with real choices, so that more sisters can find something that feels right for them. This is what we mean when we say, Modesty for Every Sister.

Tasnim Collections is a family business created by a Muslim woman for Muslim women. Many of our designs came from needs we experienced ourselves or saw among the sisters around us. Our original Diamond Khimar, our niqab ties, and many of the small details found throughout our collections were created with everyday modesty, comfort, and practicality in mind.

Our clothing is made in Marrakech by a family of skilled artisans who have worked with tailoring for more than 40 years. We have worked closely with this family for many years, and the relationship between us means a great deal to us. We respect the knowledge and time behind their work, and want our growth to benefit both of our families. They are not simply a supplier to us – they are an important part of what we do.

Most of our pieces are made to order, giving sisters the possibility to choose from different lengths, sizes, fabrics, colours, and other options. We create abayas, jilbabs, khimars and niqabs for women with different lifestyles and modesty preferences, including sisters who are often overlooked by standard sizing.

Care is important to us throughout the whole experience. Our designs are created by a Muslim woman, our garments are sewn by people we know and trust, and the sisters contacting us are answered by women who understand what they are looking for.

Our mission is not simply to sell modest clothing. It is to help every sister feel that modest clothing was made with someone like her in mind.
